ROB
NORTON

Top British, Swiss and French qualified (BASI level 4, Swiss Brevet Federal and French Carte pro). Rob founded Vivid Snowboarding back in 2011 and is an experienced backcountry coach and a BASI examiner/trainer for up and coming instructors. Rob is one of the most experienced snowboard instructors out there, he’s been riding, teaching and coaching around the globe since 1998.  When not with clients on the mountain Rob will be developing Vivid Snowboarding and trying to grow the brand within the snowboarding industry and beyond.

Equipment Choice: Burton Custom 158, Malavita binding and Ion boots. Free Thinker 157 for the park and the Flight Attendant Splitboard 162 for getting out into the backcountry. JACOB NORREMARK

Jacob ( The Great Dane ) Is with us for his second winter. His natural skills and relaxed manner has made him one of the most sort after instructors on the team. When not teaching he can be found out freeriding in the mountains around Verbier

LAMPROPOULOS

George has exceptional teaching skills and is one of our highest requested instructors. His mild relaxed manner helps build confidence and will improve your technical skills. George has been riding and teaching in Verbier for over ten years and knows the mountain exceptionally well.  While George is not teaching or riding he can be found shooting photos all over the mountain, you can check out his photography at georgelabrophoto.com

Tta

Domi was born and bred in Rome, Italy and is one of our park specialists. She has the skills to tackle and conquer any rail set up and is one of the top freestyle coaches on the mountain. Domi is a big part of our coaching team in Cervinia, Italy for our summer camps and she brings her relaxed and fun approach to any session. Domi was part of the very successful Girls Shred sessions in Verbier this past winter and will be pushing these sessions this coming winter in Verbier. Domi focuses on her organic and sustainable clothing and Bikini brand Soul Daze in the Summer months. If you are looking for one of the funnest instructors on the mountain then Domi is your go to. 

Equipment Choice: Burton Rewind 152, Lexa X EST binding, Burton Felix Boa boots. Domi uses the Hometown hero split and camber board for getting into and riding in the backcountry.

JAN
SCHLIMMER

Austrian qualified, Jan, A.K.A Dutchy, has been riding and working in Verbier for the last 19 years. His personal training and physiotherapy background rolls effortlessly into his mountain sessions. Jan is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French. An ex dutch rail riding professional, Jan started his snowboarding career in the indoor snow domes in Holland. His casual style and big bag of tricks got him shop sponsored and kitted out in Analog clothing and Salomon snowboards. The days of riding street rails and entering jib contests don’t last forever. Jan naturally made the progression to riding in the Alps with plenty more variety and his journey has bought him to his home in Verbier. 

Equipment Choice: Burton Kilroy Camber 155, Malavita bindings and Burton Ion boots. Burton Canyon 168 for the bigger days! This winter I am also going to be riding the Custom 166W for powder days. 

MICHAEL PRESTONWARD

Michael came through our instructor training course in 2021 – 2022. He showed huge natural talent on his board and he is great with teaching both Children and adults. When not teaching he can be found riding the Verbier snowpark and backcountry when the snow is on. 

Equipment Choice: Burton custom 156, Malavita Binding and the Ion boots. 

EMILIO GAGGIO 

Emilio came through our instructor training course back in 2017 and has rejoined us this winter. A skater from London Emilio has a natural ability in the snowpark. Emilio is awesome with all clients

CHRIS
ROWLEY

Chris started snowboarding at an early age in Chamonix and this is shown in his effortless style all over the mountain. Chris holds his BASI level 4 qualification and has recently been appointed a BASI Snowboard trainer. He can develop any individuals riding. Whether a low intermediate rider wanting to gain confidence on steeper terrain or the up and coming instructor looking to gain the next qualification in the system , Chris is your man. When not teaching on the hill Chris can be found turning heads in the snowpark. He has a healthy sized bag of tricks on both the rails and kickers. Not just a pure park rat Chris loves the world class freeride terrain around Verbier. When the snow conditions are on then he can be found riding lines and building powder kickers in the backcountry.

SOPHIE WHITMORE

Sophie comes from Sweden and America and is one of our most sort after instructors. Amazing with both Adults and kids. She will have you enjoying every session on the mountain. 

Equipment choice: Feelgood Camber 152, Escapade EST binding and Supreme boots. Powder days the Burton Family Tree story board.

JORDI BRUSCA TARGAS

Jordi is new to the Vivid Snowboarding team this winter. He is one of our off-piste specialists. When not out coaching and guiding Jordi can be found charging lines in the Verbier Backcountry.  Jordi has spent winters in Japan slaying the famous Japanese powder and loves surfing when away from the mountains
