Autumn Update 2022
After a long hot summer across the Alps, the weather has finally begun to feel a little more like Autumn. Endless sunny days have been replaced with rain and falling temperatures.

Snow has been seen above 2000m and glaciers across Europe are beginning to open. Here in Switzerland Saas Fee has opened its doors to the world renowned Stomping grounds camp. Glacier 3000 have set a start date of the 11th November.
Here are Vivid Snowboarding we are getting excited about the up and coming winter here in Verbier. After the success of our Instructor training course last winter we will agin be running another BASI level one and two course. This starts at the beginning of December and rolls through until mid February.

Here is a look at the camps we will be running this winter
Winter opening camp : at the beginning of December. Our first freestyle camp will be between the 19th - 23rd December 2022. The Verbier Snow park will be building some exclusive early winter features for the camp
January traditionally sees the largest snowfalls across the Alps and our Freeride camps will begin once the Christmas and New Year period has finished.
We have camps running in January and February and we can custom design these for any groups.

Early winter 2016 with the Verbier Snowboard School
Verbier is in full swing and has played host to another successful Polaris music festival. The three day event sees some of the world best house and techno DJs perform live on a huge stage at over 2000m then the party moves into town for afters. Its almost the starting line of the winter season in Verbier. The specialist snowboard school in Verbier is open for business.
The mountain has seen little natural snow in the last few weeks but the resort have done an amazing job in prepping and moving enough snow for good cover across the hill.
Verbier has amazing artificial snow capability. This improves every winter as Verbier continues to be one of the very best Ski resorts in the world. The mountain prides its self in been being the very first resort to open its slopes the beginning of November and runs through until the end of April.
Vivid Snowboarding has been riding in Les Diablerets which has an awesome park at this time of year. Look out for a late Autumn camp on the glacier next November.

2012 Update
Verbier has seen lift lines swell with the combination of holiday times and huge snowfall. Conditions on the mountain are amazing and the snow has been some of the best seen since 1998/1999. Check out snow conditions in Verbier here VERBIER
All the team have been working on and a great afternoon was had by all on Savoleyres yesterday. The CK team seemed to have a great time.
2012 update and the Verbier park is beginning to take shape and it looks like there will be a few different lines to be had this winter. After speaking to the head park shaper they are looking to put a few lines of kickers into place which means you can have more flowing runs where tricks can be put together, more slopestyle like.
Our happy hour product is already proving popular with everyone. You get a three hour session for the price of a two hour session in the afternoons. Cost is 220ch which is a bargin..... So come and take a session with Vivid snowboarding the only independant snowboard school in Verbier. No Skiboarders here......

HAPPY HOUR
During low season periods of the winter vivid snowboarding will be offering its happy hour product. The idea is to offer three hours of instructing at the price of a two hour session. This we hope will give you that added incentive to come and sample and enjoy the very best snowboard coaching in Verbier. A two hour session for one to two people is 220ch, you will get the third hour free!! Get in contact for more details.
VIVID UPDATE
The Lac De Vaux area of Verbier is open and has been fairly busy over the weekend. Vivid Snowboarding have been representing on the mountain and have been focusing on getting those riding legs back as well as some specific training for the up and coming winter. The team seem to be super fit and excited to be part of a new breed of snowboard school in Verbier.

Snow is forecasted for the end of the week and the mountain staff are beginning to get other parts of the mountain prepped up and ready for winter.
ALL MOUNTAIN CLINICS FOR LOCALS AND SEASONAIRES
For the opening winter of Vivid Snowboarding in Verbier we will be offering free freestyle and backcountry coaching to locals and seasonaires on a wednesday afternoon. These clinics could take place in the Neipark 1936 or around some of the amazing backcountry Verbier has to offer. We will also be offering snowboarder taster sessions which will be aimed at anyone who is looking to learn the basics. Verbier Update
Not too long now until winter kick-off. However the mountain is lacking any real snow cover. As you can see the snow fall has been minimal of late. The weather has been beautifully sunny and crisp. The snow has stayed away and therefore we are still waiting for that first major fall.

Vivid snowboarding has its fingers crossed that the lifts are going to be running for the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November. However the current high pressure system that is parked over Europe seems to be giving warm temperatures and no cloud cover means snow is unlikely this week. Televerbier do have great snow making on the hill and once those temperature drop the slopes can be blown full of the white stuff.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
