Vivid Snowboarding is entering its sixth winter in Verbier. The Snowboard School Verbier offers a huge range of products.
We provide instruction, teaching and guiding for all levels of rider. Here at Vivid Snowboarding we believe you are never too young to learn. We have created a specific kids program focused on getting kids on boards early having fun and progressing.
Gone are the days of having to ski first. Here at Vivid Snowboarding we believe in small fun sessions for young children. We want them to learn and develop their skills through enjoyment on the hill. This does not need to take place a long way up the mountain. These sessions could happen on the nursery slopes in resort.

SUMMER CAMPS IN CERVINIA
Summer Camps in Cervinia
The Cervinia glacier was on point over the summer. There were a huge number of features for every level of rider. Blue ,red and black features of rails, boxes and kickers. The park crew were creative with skate bowls built out of snow. The run finished with a quarter pipe at the bottom of the snowpark. After talking with the park designers, they are going to go bigger and better for next summer 2017 in time for our summer camps in Cervinia.

There are a few changes to look forward to for the winter season in Verbier. The snowboard school desk being situated in Surefoot which sites above the Big Ben pub and opposite No.1 Ski/Snowboard shop at Medran. This new venue is perfect for on the spot bookings as our meeting point is next to the shop.
Finally Televerbier are replacing the slow four man chair lift in Le chable with a fast 6 seater which will transform this area of the mountain. La chaux used to suffer from a serious bottle neck and afternoon congestion. This new lift will mean quicker learning laps for everyone and faster park laps for freestylers.

COLD TEMPERATURES HIT VERBIER
Cold Temperatures hit Verbier
A cold snap has hit the slopes of verbier these last few days.
The BASI level 2 that has been running in Verbier has seen -20 temperatures on Lac De veux early morning. The cold weather has meant the snow has been staying fresh all over the mountain and team have been out on the hill everyday. The cold weather is set to continue so wrap up warm when you are heading out for a shred.

Verbier Update
Not too long now until winter kick-off. However the mountain is lacking any real snow cover. As you can see the snow fall has been minimal of late. The weather has been beautifully sunny and crisp. The snow has stayed away and therefore we are still waiting for that first major fall.

Vivid snowboarding has its fingers crossed that the lifts are going to be running for the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November. However the current high pressure system that is parked over Europe seems to be giving warm temperatures and no cloud cover means snow is unlikely this week. Televerbier do have great snow making on the hill and once those temperature drop the slopes can be blown full of the white stuff.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

fond memory
Mother Nature. We ask for snow. Mid Autumn here in Verbier and we are all looking forward to the winter ahead. The last few Autumns have seen good early winter snow fall. We hoping Mother Nature will bring some early season snowfall. Verbier will open its slopes at weekends once the snow arrives.The lifts will open full time from the beginning of December.
