Holiday time is upon us here in Verbier. This has bought with it slightly longer lift lines and busier slopes.
March 1st 2014 on the mountain has been great of late with plenty on new snow and all the lifts in the four valleys being open. Bruson has seen some epic conditions and the new lift has really helped make access to the mountain a lot easier than the old bus across the valley floor then up.

All the team have been busy teaching and coaching on the hill. Vivid Kids product has been really popular with lots of youngsters taking their first enjoyable moments on their board. It has been great to see the response from the recent Olympics in Sochi. The GB snowboard team were great to watch and there were some outstanding performances in slope style from Jamie Nicholls and the Amazing Jenny Jones who scooped a bronze medal in the ladies event. This has had an amazing effect on the general public in the UK as snowboarding fever has hit home. It is an easy sport to pick up in the UK with loads of dry slopes and indoor centers. Snowboarding is for everyone and it is an amazing day out so get involved and get down to your nearest hill.
