Freeride and backcountry camps

Vivid Snowboarding will be offering specific Freeride and backcountry riding camps this coming winter.

The Verbier Snowboard School has put together a five day camp that aims to build both your technical riding and overall confidence in the mountains.

Choosing lines and safe entry routes as well as looking at how to use and become comfortable working and using transceivers. These basic off-piste skills can sometimes seem a little daunting. However with practice and repetition these skills will become second nature.

Verbier is the perfect playground, it has some of the very best off-piste snowboarding in the world. The huge variety of terrain means you will be riding different lines and locations on a daily basis. With two lift accessed peaks over 3000m and over 470km of marked runs within the four valleys you can get an idea of just how large the off-piste is.

Home and birth place of the Freeride world tour, Verbier has endless amounts of terrain to ride. Everything from trees, chutes to high altitude powder bowls.

The price for the camp will be 890CHF which includes all your coaching and guiding. We can arrange a good price on your transceiver, pack , shovel and probe if needed.
