MASSIVE SNOWFALL VERBIER
Vivid snowboarding has been enjoying the biggest dump of snow to hit the Alps in a few winters. All the top half of the mountain is still closed due to massive snowfall Verbier. Trees are beginning to fall over due to the sheer weight of snow. The team has been busy with clients over the weekend and the resort is beginning to fill up with Christmas on its way. The conditions are set to be amazing and the sun is going to shine by the end of the week.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PROGRAM
Instructor Training Program
Vivid Snowboarding will be offering up and coming instructors the opportunity for focused training before BASI snowboarding exams. Rob Norton has been a trainer and examiner for the last six years and has delivered and examined programmes in NZ , Europe , Argentina and Japan.
This wealth of experience combined with a passion for developing riders brings a new product which can help you through the qualification process. This is not your typical trainee instructor programme where you are offered the whole package of accommodation, food etc
We give you the responsibility to manage your time off the mountain and then we train you into be an awesome instructor on the hill
We are offering the bare essential coaching on the mountain. We will also allow you to shadow snowboard school lessons as well as take part in our in house instructor development programme. We feel this product will put you in a great position to tackle your exams and gain that next level qualification.
All our on mountain training sessions will be directly looking at the BASI snowboarding content.

WE WELCOME CRAIG MUNRO TO THE TEAM
Craig has been signed up to the Vivid Snowboard team for this winter 2011/12. He brings with him a huge passion for both riding and coaching. Craig has been shredding the mountains of Verbier for the last six winters and can mix a fine cocktail in the Farinet Lounge bar. When not snowboarding in Verbier Craig can be found coaching surfing in South West France or surfing for himself in Indo or another tropical location. HAPPY HOUR
During low season periods of the winter vivid snowboarding will be offering its happy hour product. The idea is to offer three hours of instructing at the price of a two hour session. This we hope will give you that added incentive to come and sample and enjoy the very best snowboard coaching in Verbier. A two hour session for one to two people is 220ch, you will get the third hour free!! Get in contact for more details.
VIVID UPDATE
The Lac De Vaux area of Verbier is open and has been fairly busy over the weekend. Vivid Snowboarding have been representing on the mountain and have been focusing on getting those riding legs back as well as some specific training for the up and coming winter. The team seem to be super fit and excited to be part of a new breed of snowboard school in Verbier.

Snow is forecasted for the end of the week and the mountain staff are beginning to get other parts of the mountain prepped up and ready for winter.
ALL MOUNTAIN CLINICS FOR LOCALS AND SEASONAIRES
For the opening winter of Vivid Snowboarding in Verbier we will be offering free freestyle and backcountry coaching to locals and seasonaires on a wednesday afternoon. These clinics could take place in the Neipark 1936 or around some of the amazing backcountry Verbier has to offer. We will also be offering snowboarder taster sessions which will be aimed at anyone who is looking to learn the basics. Jackets have gone in to get tagged up in town and flyers are getting created back in Blighty. A trip over to Saas Fee or Les Diablerets for the first vivid photo shoot of the winter in planned for the next couple of days and the word is spreading in town of a new breed of snowboard school.

Verbier Update
Not too long now until winter kick-off. However the mountain is lacking any real snow cover. As you can see the snow fall has been minimal of late. The weather has been beautifully sunny and crisp. The snow has stayed away and therefore we are still waiting for that first major fall.

Vivid snowboarding has its fingers crossed that the lifts are going to be running for the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November. However the current high pressure system that is parked over Europe seems to be giving warm temperatures and no cloud cover means snow is unlikely this week. Televerbier do have great snow making on the hill and once those temperature drop the slopes can be blown full of the white stuff.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
