Vivid snowboarding offers the very best snowboard instructor training course on the market. The program will last for 10 weeks and successful candidates will gain their BASI Level one and two snowboard qualifications. The course is an amazing way of not only becoming qualified, but also a game changer for anyone looking to improve their riding skills. Much of the course program is based around learning how to teach snowboarding. This is the ability to communicate and explain different skills. While having the ability to show the correct movements in a clear and precise demonstration. It is being able to structure lessons with great content while making a session super fun and inclusive.
The trainee snowboard instructor will also learn how to accurately analysis a riders performance. This will be on a given task which will involve understanding the product and being able to give the appropriate feedback.The trainee's riding will be constantly evolving through riding piste, off-piste and snowpark.
The ten week course will transform your riding. Taking the riding back to basics and slowing everything down allows the rider to reshape everything. By understanding your own technical riding you can grow and develop your skills on your snowboard in all areas on the mountain.
Vivid Snowboarding also offers extensive technical training and teacher training for the BASI snowboarding level 3 and 4. This training can easily be transferred into other national systems.

Become a Level two snowboard instructor
Become a level two snowboard instructor with us this winter in our home resort of Verbier.
The course will be running from the beginning of December 2023 and will run through until early February 2024. Our 10 week course is designed to make you an awesome rider ready to tackle anything on the mountain. It will also give you the skills to teach any level of snowboarder. The program also aims to make you super employable in the industry.
Everyone who is successful in gaining their level two snowboard qualification will be ready to go and teach. We had a 100 % pass rate on our winter 2022 - 2023 course. Already some of our students have been successful in gaining employment. Here at Vivid Snowboarding we mentor our students through the course. We take pride in each individuals growth. Its been a busy spring and summer here at Vivid Snowboarding. We had our summer camp running in Cervinia, Italy which was a huge success. We had the entire crew practising and performing 360's by the end of the camp.
NEW WEBSITE
As we move towards the end of the summer and towards winter we have loads more happening. This coming autumn will see our new website being launched with a totally new look and feel. Encompassed into the new site will be strong profiles of all the instructing team. We will also be launching some new exciting camps and courses within the new site. Keep an eye for an update in September.

We are again going to be heading back out to China to start delivering Instructor training exams for up and coming Chinese instructors.

As the autumn starts we will also be firing up our Youtube channel with a great mix of new content. This will range from tutorials, trick tips and general snowboarding hacks. Advanced Rider Program
New for winter 2023 -2024 will be our season long advanced rider program. This is a course which is designed for intermediate to advanced riders, who are looking to grow their riding skills all over the mountain. Instructors who have already completed the level one and two instructor levels will also be suitable to attend. This will include specific freeride coaching for a 1 star world tour qualifier events which will take place here in Verbier.

We have relaunched our powder camp in Japan. This will be taking place in early January. The venue will be in Myoko which is only 2.5 hours away from Tokyo on the bullet train. The 10 weeks course will have you qualified with both the BASI level one and two qualifications. The course itself does also have the option to add the BASI performance coach course module onto the schedule.

We have also added an option where the individual can pay for just the training and exams and the rest is up to you. We have plenty of accommodation contacts within in the area.

For a true alpine winter snowboard experience you should join our 10 week course in Verbier, Switzerland. We have course options with food and accommodation. We also offer the course with training and exams only. Verbier is one of the very best resorts in the world and where Vivid Snowboarding was born and locates itself during the winter. Saas Fee, Switzerland is home to our Autumn course. This runs from late September to November. It is a great way to get qualified and work as an instructor for the up and coming season. Previously on this course students have gone on to work in resorts in Switzerland, Italy and Austria in Europe as well as Japan and China in Asia. Here at Vivid Snowboarding we work hard with our clients to get them into work. We help design a specific industry C.V, these are super important went looking to gain employment.
Myoko, Japan runs from mid January through to March. Myoko has an amazing snow record as it is close to the South China sea. A superb mixture of freeride terrain next to awesome piste and some of the best snow parks in Japan. All these ingredients make Myoko a great place for your instructor training course.
Verbier, Switzerland is where Vivid Snowboarding was created and is based. Our instructor training course prepares people for their BASI level one exam and two exam. The nine week course starts in January and runs through to the middle of March. In Verbier we also offer individual coaching for any level of instructor looking to gain their next level of qualification. We train and work with all levels from one through to level three and level four.

Thinking about becoming a snowboard instructor? Wondering what course to book onto.
Here is a quick insight into which qualification pathway is best. What qualifications are employers looking for? why traveling to the other side of the world to gain your qualifications might not be everything it's cracked up to be.
The Snowboard instructing industry is littered with various courses and qualifications. These can be done fast tracked with specialised intensive courses or can spread out over longer periods of time.
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE
A nine to ten week course may seem like a big financial out lay at the beginning. However most packages include pretty much everything from Hotel to meals, training through to exam costs. If you are fairly new to the winter sports industry, you will find the organised training sessions essential. You will gain the correct technical skills to get through the exams.Your coach will have been through the process and know the product inside out.
Traveling to locations further a field can be an awesome way to ride different mountain ranges and experience different culture.
Be aware of the snowboarding instructing system that you are signing up for. Knowledge is everything.
A Canadian qualification is great if you are wanting to instruct in Canada. Be warned that if you are wanting to continue with furthering your qualification then you will have to return to Canada to sit further exams. This could be both costly and time consuming.
BASI SNOWBOARDING: CHECK OUT THE PATHWAY HERE BASI SNOWBOARDING
The advantages of following a journey through the BASI system are huge.
The product is constantly evolving to keep up to date with the changing markets.
The BASI level one Snowboard qualification is a stand alone course and will enable instructors to teach in an indoor environment .
The BASI level two qualification will allow an instructor to teach all over the mountain. If you are looking for a career in the snowboard industry then completing your BASI level 3 and 4 is essential.
The majority of BASI courses are run through out the year within Europe.The initial level one qualification can be done in a snow dome in the UK. A lot of the exams take place in November in Zermatt, Switzerland. Hintertux in Austria is the spring venue for exams.
