Here we will develop your backcountry riding technique and your ability to read and adapt to different snow types and terrain. Our camp will also expand your mountain skills by increasing your awareness of the environment you are in, for example being able to traverse into a specific area judging correct speed and grip. You will learn to use all safety equipment comfortably and gain confidence when venturing off-piste.
Search for new and exciting lines. This camp is for advanced riders who want the whole backcountry mix. From couloirs and cliff drops, to lines in the trees and powder bowls. The camp will hunt out the best conditions and terrain the mountain has to offer.
The vast backcountry becomes accessible through our unique split boarding tours. Our split camp of day tours will include touring techniques, equipment familiarization, route planning and safety on the mountain. During the camp the approach to each day’s tour will be fairly flexible to suit conditions on the hill, if the powder is on then we’ll be riding steep and deep all day long.
Vivid freestyle camps will help bring out the inner slopestyle rider which is in us all. Our five day camps are aimed at the intermediate and advanced rider who is looking to improve their overall riding skills through greater board control. Stylish grabs and tweaks will grow into smooth controlled spins while 50/50’s on boxes and rails will develop into presses and board slides.
Created due to demand, Vivid Snowboarding is proud to present its new winter freestyle camp. These five day freestyle extravaganzas will have you tuned in and visibly progressing. At the end of the camp you will take home a personalised video edit of your riding. The camp will offer a real mix of riding, from flatland tricks and jibing the whole mountain, to rail and box work and park kickers.
The Verbier park has a great mix of progressive features for every level of rider. The new six-man chairlift means super quick lift times which maximises park laps.
